Despite the obvious risks cycling is big in Qatar.  There are a number of groups that operate both on the road and off-road.  Both serious and casual.

Cycling is a great way to stay fit and a fun activity to keep you active outside of the gym.  At Fitness Qatar we have a lot of time for cycling and in particular Qatar Chain Reaction http://qatarchainreaction.org/
